On a cold winter Sunday, a pastor of a small village church (Tomas Ericsson) serves the small community; even though he is suffering from a cold and severe crisis of belief. After the service, he tries to comfort the anxious fisherman (Jonas Persson), but Tomas can only speak of his troubled relationship with God. The teacher (Maerta Lundberg) offers Tomas her love as a consolation for the loss of faith. But Tomas defies her love as desperately as he offers it. Winter Light is one of the best movies released in year 1963. I recommend the film to everyone, but I do not know if everyone will like it as much as I do. These days, new movies coming to the cinema, do not have 'something' hidden in this film. In my opinion, some of the actors roles were just a masterpieces which made an amazing impression on me. The amount of details and little aspects of the movie that you can find years and years later is absolutely amazing. Easily the movie with the best dialogues ever. I did not find this movie full on any other website so I uploaded it here.... Show more
