Edmund, a little boy who lives war after the Second World War in Germany, has to do all kinds of work and tricks to help his family when acquiring food and hardly survive. One day he meets a man who was one of his teachers at school and hopes to get support from him, but the ideas of this man do not run EDMUND in a brighter or safer way of life.

Germany Year Zero is really good movie production from year 1948. However, those who hate such films will not be disappointed, because the dialogues led by the main characters are brilliant. This movie literally has everything. This is a movie you can watch online with any crowd of people, and everyone will enjoy it at least a little. I was afraid that knowledge of the plot would in some way take away the joy of watching, but it did not happen. The director of Germany Year Zero is really a genius.
