During the bloody war in Chechnya, a British couple and two Russian soldiers are taken hostage by Chechen rebels. Two of the hostages are then released to bring the money for the British woman who is forced to wait for the ransom.

War is one of the best movies released in year 2002. Definitive example of 10/10 movie. War is a long movie, with the space to expand and explore all it's features. War surely has excellent dialogue. But this diversity of dialogues is the essence of this film, they arouse the audience's respect, especially against the backdrop of today's cinema.
