Nanni, a renowned director, is working on a musical when suddenly he has a change of heart and cancels the film on the first shooting day. He has a new idea, making a documentary about the Italian national elections, but work isn't going very fast, much to the frustration of the crew. Nanni can't stop thinking, worrying and getting excited about the birth and early days of life of his newborn son, yet is torn by his sense of obligation to make the documentary.

Aprile is one of my favorite movies from year 1998. I've seen many movies in my life, over 10 grand in total... This movie literally has everything. This is a movie you can watch online with any crowd of people, and everyone will enjoy it at least a little. Aprile has everything, great performances, great acting and well written script. The director of Aprile is really a genius. Whoever has not seen let it rush in front of the TV, because this movie just has to be seen.
